What do you do when you don't know what to do as parents?
This goes back to what I was talking about earlier.
We're going into this parental shame.
It's like, I don't know what to say in this moment.
I don't know how to interact with my child.
So we actually created a program where parents can talk
with a coach, and the coach specific role is to say,
what do you want to learn in how
to better act with your child?
How do you want to help your child more?
And really then the parents identify what the issue is,
why that issue's a problem.
And then with a coach, they talk through potential solutions
and help the parents practice that solution.
Then the parent tries it, comes back with a coach
and says, here's how it went.
Okay, we need to make some revisions,
or, that went really well.
Two thumbs up on that. And that's when you go, wow,
you're doing a great job as a parent.
And so the coaching program is designed
to help parents get the support
that they need when they don't necessarily know.
There's no shame there. In fact, if anything, it takes a lot
of courage to say, I don't necessarily know how to do this.
