How To Help Your Loved One Change

SHARE

In this course, Jon Taylor (LCSW, CSAT) walks individuals through how to move their loved one toward treatment, reduce their loved one’s addictive behavior whether or not they have engaged in treatment, and improve their own lifestyle.
Jon Taylor LCSW, CSAT
In 2008, Jon started work in the mental health field, working with individuals who struggle with pornography addiction. In 2011, he completed a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Utah and soon after became a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist (CSAT) where he met and received supervision from Dr. Ken Adams. In 2019, Jon opened White Pine Recovery, an outpatient treatment facility near Salt Lake City, Utah. Jon works primarily with men in recovery from sex and porn addiction and couples who are working to heal the wounds from infidelity, and of course, Mother-Enmeshed Men (MEM). He has been working with Dr. Adams since 2018 with MEM and their partners. MEM work is hands down, Jon’s favorite part of his work. There’s nothing like the energy and life in men who are hearing their own voice for the first time and committing to follow through with purpose. Jon also works with couples impacted by MEM and enjoys the infusion of passion and connection MEM recovery can bring into relationships. Jon’s training and experience help him to focus on core issues and dynamics within the individuals and couples he works with. Jon is an EMDR trained therapist, Gottman trained- level 1 and 2, and is currently pursuing a certification in the Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT).
